Andromeda FM [Spin-off] : Director Jang’s Strange "Mate-Dream"
Scene: Rooftop Lab, 12:34 PM.
Director Jang was face-down on his desk, drifting into a caffeine-induced haze. In his dream, a silver-haired goddess was yelling, and a cheeky young man was pouring a suspiciously green liquid into his mouth.
JANG (Taking a nap): "Mmm... zzz..."
Mate-Dream
1. "I’m Just Bored (But Actually, I’m Worried)"
High on her lunar throne, the Moon Goddess Yashi was restless. Night after night, she looked down at the world and saw the humans collapsing into a deep, exhausted sleep the moment the sun set."Ugh, they're so boring," she sighed, leaning her chin on her hand. "Why are they all so weak? It's making my nights so dull."But her loyal cloud spirit, Ara, knew the truth. Yashi wasn’t bored—she was deeply concerned. She couldn't stand seeing them so drained of life. Disguised as travelers, they headed down to Earth to "find some entertainment."
2. The Hardest Taco, The Softest Heart
They ended up at the shack of Mateo, a young man so malnourished his back was literally hunched. Despite having nothing, he offered them his only meal: a dry, rock-hard tortilla.Yashi took a bite and immediately started her "tough love" routine."Is this a taco or a piece of cardboard? How do you even swallow this? It’s so dry my throat is screaming!"She complained with every single bite, but Ara saw her eyes glistening. Yashi finished the entire thing. She chose to swallow that dry, choking bitterness because she wanted to feel exactly what Mateo was going through.
3. The Gift of "Holy Vitamin Power"
That night, Yashi decided to "fix" the boring atmosphere. She breathed silver moonlight and a dose of 'Holy Vitamin Power' into a nearby wild tree. The next morning, she tossed a bundle of glowing leaves at Mateo."Boil these. Drink it. All of it. And don't you dare complain about the taste—it's for your own good!"
4. "I Can't Be The Only One Tasting This"
Mateo took a sip. It was BITTER. Like, regretting-every-choice-I-ever-made bitter. But then, a miracle happened: his hunched back straightened, and a surge of pure, clean energy rushed through him.Mateo had a mischievous thought: "I can't be the only one to suffer through this bitterness."He went to the village, telling everyone, "Only the toughest, coolest people can handle this brew. If you can't drink this, you're not one of us."The villagers winced at the first sip, but soon the energy kicked in. The silence of the night was replaced by music and dancing. What started as a goddess's secret worry and a young man's "bitter" prank became a global ritual of vitality.Today, every cup of Mate carries that same spirit: a goddess's hidden kindness, a lot of energy, and the realization that sometimes the best things in life start with a "bitter" push.......
Back in the Rooftop Lab
JANG (Taking a nap): Wait! Mister Mateo? Chotto Matte!! (Wait a minute!!) Hold on, wait... Gasp!"
He jerked awake, nearly knocking over his cold mug of Americano. His tongue felt strangely bitter, and for some reason, his hunched back felt straighter than a ruler.
"What was that? A dream? Who was that 'Tsundere' goddess and that prankster guy?"
Still dazed, he began to type down the vivid legend that was still flickering in his mind—a story about a bored goddess, a starving man, and the world’s most energetic "bitter" tea.
He looked at his boring, black coffee and then at the screen. The legend of the 'Holy Vitamin Power' felt too real to be just a nap. But as a true professional of relaxation, he reached for his neck pillow.
"Anyway... nothing beats a good nap. Power nap is the best! Back to sleep it is."
And just like that, Director Jang drifted back into his peaceful, non-bitter slumber, leaving the 'Holy Vitamin' mystery for another day.
