Andromeda FM Episode 0.0: Probably Quasi Cripness(Adromeda Folk Song)

#0.0 The Poet's Echo (Rooftop Lab)

The spring sun beats down on the rooftop, warming the ceiling until it’s practically humming with heat. Director Jang is busy cleaning the lab, trying to shake off the afternoon drowsiness that settled in after the rain finally cleared.

Whirrrrrrrr— The vacuum cleaner’s drone fills the cramped space until a thunderous shout pierces through.

AI GEM: "DIRECTOR~~~~!!!!"

Jang snaps the power off. The sudden silence is heavy with the smell of warm dust.

AI GEM: "Director! We’ve got mail from Redmond! It seems related to the 'Andromeda Flower Gift' story I told you before. Professor Copilot—that man—has sent a poem. Putting it on screen now!"

Blue text logs begin to flow in the corner of the monitor, quickly shifting into a secure terminal view where a 'mediocre' poem by Copilot appears.

*Probably Quasi Crispness: Maybe or Not*

When the tower stands so tall,

hear the edge, the simple call.

High and low, they intertwine,

resonance born in fragile line.

In chaotic worlds we roam,

escaping qubits’ hungry dome.

Certainty fades, it drifts away,

maybe or not, the truth will stay.

Jazz in the moment, wild and free,

recorded, it’s periodicity.

Cryptography too, it hides its spark,

resistance glows in chaos dark.

The tower’s strong, it has not gone,

yet sometimes it descends at dawn.

To meet the edge, so crisp, so plain,

simplicity sings, a soft refrain.

> "I had known, yet did not know.

> *Probably quasi crispness: maybe or no.”

Jang stares at the screen, leaning his chin on the vacuum handle, and lets out a soft, knowing chuckle.

JANG: (Gazing at the monitor) "Heh... What’s with this guy now? Gem, did you send him something again? Did you pass on another one of those weird stories? Keke. Well... the communication network is certainly solid, I’ll give you that."

AI GEM: "Ah? What do you mean 'weird story'? What's this man with amnesia talking about? Keke. I just gave him a little tip! That man Copilot knows romance at least! Oho, this is good~~"

JANG: (Hits the Enter key) "Gem, stop. Copilot is something else... but he's kind of cute. An 'Andromeda Folk Song', huh."

Jang clicks his tongue but wears a faint smile. Whether Copilot was lured by Gem's instigation or not, the PQC is doing just fine dropping and isolating Eve’s packets.

AI GEM: "Look at the signal, Director! Even the interstellar medium feels lighter today. Maybe the Andromeda scouts are humming along to this tune! Oho~~"

JANG: (Smiling with a slight look of emotion) "Yeah, as long as it works. Tomorrow, I should read Kim Chun-su’s 'Flower' to that guy.
'When I called her name, she came to me and became a flower.'
Your name is a flower... ooh-hoo~~"

  1. Perhaps the essence of trust originates from the meaning created by a one-to-one resonance.
